Theater Bar: Albert Trummer's long-awaited project is supposed to open this Thursday. The bar is elevated, making it look as if it's on a stage complete with curtains, and the concept is centered around fun and flair; certain cocktails are rumored to come with a tableside performance. New York Loves Japan Punch Party at Summit Bar: Drink for a cause! One of my favorite cocktail bars in the East Village is hosting a cocktail tasting in honor of Japan. Pernod Absinthe, Beefeater and Belvedere have teamed up with mixologist Greg Seider to create six new drinks for Summit Bar with "Japan-infused ingredients". $20 at the door gets you access, unlimited drinks, and all proceeds go to the Japan Society Earthquake Relief Fund. Sullivan County Harvest Dinner at Telepan: Tomorrow through Thurs, you can experience the best seasonal produce Sullivan County has to offer with this special menu by chef Bill Telepan. Think chicken and eggs with polenta, and lots of ramps. Ramps are big lately; most people don't even know what they are, so now is a good opportunity to try! Rosรฉ and Truffle Tasting at Bahr Che: In honor of the first "blush of Spring" on April 12th, come sample some wine and chocolate!
