Mia Chef Gelateria: new coffee and dessert spot in Kips Bay. I saw "pastries stuffed with butterscotch and salted toffee" and I was sold. 379 3rd Ave nr 27th st.
Ajisen Ramen: New location for ramen noodle shop in Chelsea (original is in Chinatown). Stay tuned for write up; I had it the other day for lunch and it was quite good. 136 West 28th st nr 7th ave.
Asiadog: the BK Flea staple has set up shop on Kenmare Street, serving their signature sandwiches (BBQ bulgogi burger, ginger pulled pork) as well as many different hot dogs or "asiadogs" like the kimchee pancake corn dog with Korean chili dip. 66 Kenmare st nr Mott st.

The Tangled Vine Wine Bar & Kitchen is offering two specials; one is a Passover special (through the 24th) with things like charoset crostini topped with walnuts, cinnamon and red wine for $6. For non-Passover eaters, they will be offering a wine, cheese and charcuterie deal (through the 21st) with two wines, three cheeses and three meats at 50% off. A Voce is offering Passover specials as well like their Roman-inspired matzo ball soup (matzo ball 'dumplings', brisket, beef broth and marrow) and lasagna made with matzo pasta and mushrooms. 41 Madison Ave, nr 26th st. 212-545-8555
The Hog Pit does Easter. I'm not sure how I feel about anyone celebrating their Easter at The Hog Pit, but they're offering $9 pulled pork sandwiches and $2 PBR's all day. 37 West 26th st btwn Broadway and 6th.
