Some Bites from No. 7 Sub!

I go to Greece for one week and when I come back No. 7 Sub has three new sandwiches. The NERVE. It started when my cubemate friend Gil showed up the other day with a sandwich for lunch. He got the "Filet-o-Fish" which is adapted from the ever-popular (though never a favorite of mine) Filet-O-Fish from McDonalds. I will eat many things but fish from a fast food chain was always a big fat NO in my mind, but I hold No. 7 Sub to a different standard, so I gave it a bite. Pretty good, but hate to say, I thought it was fishy. I know it's a fish sandwich but that bugged me…not to mention it also had cilantro on it.

The cheese was good I'll give it that…and if you like the Filet-O-Fish, then you'll prob love this one.

Now speaking of fishy…when a few of my coworkers and I hopped on over there for lunch, I opened the door and was smacked in the face with the overwhelming smell of fish frying in oil. HOLY. CRAP. I'm not kidding I could smell it all day in my hair. I think I can still smell it now…yup…a subtle mix of Chloe perfume and Filet-O-Fish. And I wonder why I'm single. NO. BUENS. Anyway, I got the Dill Chicken Salad sub with tomatoes, bacon and potato chips. A far better scent and oh my goodness this thing was heaven between bread…

Sexy sub.

What I loved about this sub was that it's not slopped up with mayo, but has a generous pinch of dill mixed in, crunchy potato chips, and thick cut pieces of bacon (like lardons), not skinny little strips. Take a closer look at the breakdown..

Up close and personal. But look at that perfect piece of bacon!

I think I found my new favorite (next to the Zucchini Parm). Til next time, No. 7…
