There's really only one way to say this, and I don't think much more emphasis is needed:

Ok, I could totally be making that up – but apparently Krispy Kreme believes it too, which is why they're giving away one free donut to each customer this Friday. Only at participating locations though, so click here to find a location.
And be sure to check out the Non-Major National Food and Drink Holidays Calendar (yea I made that title up, but it does exist). See. So now you can be better prepared for National Cupcake Day (December 15th), National Taco Day (October 4th), or National Biscuit and Gravy Week (2nd week of Feb). And yes, they do get even more ridiculous than that. Example: National Lobster Thermidor Day (January 24th). Yea. If someone can find out who decided on this crap, please let me know. And if you know what to do with National Black Cow Day (June 10th), an explanation of that would be appreciated too..
