Since I hate Mondays with a passion, I thought it would be nice to ignore them altogether. Instead I'd like to focus on the future and what's to come in the food world. Consider this a weekly foodie calendar of sorts; restaurant openings/closings, food classes, food festivals, yada yada you get the idea. I'm cranky leave me alone.

Foodie Fun

$35 Prix-Fixe at SHO Shaun Hergatt for three courses in the Pearl Room, with wine pairings for an additional $25 (starting today). 212-809-3993 for reservations.  

Sushi & Sashimi Class at the International Culinary Center (ICC) at The French Culinary Institute. Friday, March 4th from 6 pm – 10 pm, including a 1 hour dinner, $195 pp. Click here for more info and to sign up. Skinny Pig note – it may be pricey, but it's a very good school and I've really enjoyed the classes I took here.. 

Fresh Pasta for Beginners Class at Rustico Cooking. Saturday, March 5th from 12pm – 3pm, where you'll learn to make three types of pasta, two sauces and biscotti. $110 pp, and yes, you get to eat what you cook! Click here for more info.  

French Cheese & Wine Class at The Artisanal Premium Cheese Center, Thursday March 3rd from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm. You'll sample some of the finest French cheeses and wines for $85 pp. Click here for more info and to sign up. 

St Patty's Day Debauchery Parade in Hoboken, Saturday March 5th at 1 pm on Washington and 14th street. Prepare to get shamROCKED. *rimshot*
