Well my timing couldn't be better…remember Foodparc? If you don't, scroll down a few, you'll get there. Apparently the outdoor space in Foodparc is being converted to Beerparc. Yay! The 12,000 sq foot space will house plenty of food and drink to keep the Midtown happy hour crowd well, happy.
Apparently you pay $3 per ticket upon entry and that goes towards your food and beer. I don't really get what the point of that is, but ok? If you read my post on Foodparc you will see that some of their concepts are lost on me anyway, so I guess I'll just add this one to the list. I'm impressed with the lineup of food though: Fatty Cue (Williamsburg whattup), Kin Shop, Edi & The Wolf, Seasonal, and Soi 29. Not to mention they'll have 10 beers on tap, it opens at 2 pm on Fridays, and that big screen that broadcasts silent films for the people at Bar Basque will be showing Mets and Yankees games. I don't know about you but it sounds like the perfect place to watch the Mets lose.
