Monday Smorgasbord: July 25th

This week in food looks like…a little less heat and a little more booze..

Foodie Fun

Tasting Room at The Brooklyn Brewery – today through Thurs, 5 pm – 7 pm. $4 gets you a token that's good for any beer brewed on-site. 79 North 11th St, between berry and Wythe.

Every Tuesday at Jimmy's No. 43, you can smaple 6 beers for $10. Not too shabby. Each tasting is led by a certified beer-expert (not sure how you become one of those..), and can accomodate up to 40 people.

Back Forty Crab Boil – Every Tuesday through the end of August, Back Forty will be ditching it's regular menu in lieu of crabs. Chesapeake crabs to be exact. The $40 prix-fixe also comes with sides like string beans, buttered potatoes and corn on the cob. Drinks not included. Book your tickets through brownpapertickets.com. 190 Ave B between 11th and 12th sts.

Craftails – Tom Colicchio's famed Craft restaurant will transform it's dining room into a lounge this Friday, to feature bartender Sean McClure's mixology talents. $12 per drink isn't exactly cheap, but if mixology is your thing then it's def worth checking out. 43 East 19th st, btwn Broadway and Park Ave S.
