While the weather is still pleasant (recent rainfall aside), Loreley in Williamsburg is launching an outdoor event called "Bier Disco" this Saturday, 8/20 at 4 pm, and will continue every Saturday thereafter until further notice (or until it gets cold I assume). The beergarden will be tapping a free keg of HB Summer beer for your drinking pleasure, and whats a "bier disco" without some music and a dancefloor? DJ's Mark Verbos and Stephen Pandolfi will be spinning for the occasion until the late night hours.
The full food menu will be available to keep you going, and here's a secret: ask for the Cheese Pretzel; it's not on the menu but if you ask for it, they will make it. It's a classic German pretzel stuffed and topped with a mixture of gruyere and parmesan cheese. $7 gets you two pretzels and they go great with beer. Thank me later..
