THE APORKALYPSE IS COMING!

“What is that? You crazy bacon freak..” you are probably asking yourself. Well, not to be mean but, what the hell do you THINK it is?! It’s one of the glorious food festivals hosted by Get Real Presents, and it is centered around the sacred pig. CAN I GET AN AMEN?! Also, bacon shortage my ass.

I have attended many an event by Get Real in the past, and might I say, that I have yet to leave disappointed or sober. This is the 2nd annual aPORKalypse, and it is being held at The Alewife in LIC on March 2nd; there will be over 2o craft beer local breweries present, as well as multiple NYC-based chefs cooking up everything from bacon bits to whole hogs. Tickets are limited, and are available exclusively through Eventbrite, so hurry hurry and get your tickets asap. I will be there obviously, so if you’d like to see some food for yourself, you should get there before I do.

Extra (yet important) details:

– Tickets for both sessions are $40 each.

– Each ticket gets you 10 tastings of beer and 10 tastings of pig. Gobble and chug, my friends, gobble and chug.
