Why, these are a few of my favorite things! The Bacon & Beer Classic is coming to Citi Field on July 26th, and I’m giving you a special discount code for 20% off tickets. YOU ARE WELCOME.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with The Bacon & Beer Classic, it is a pork and alcohol-centric event brought to you by Cannonball Productions, and housed in major league baseball stadiums across America. Next stop happens to be The Big Apple, and for those of you who are unfamiliar with Citi Field, it is the home of the New York Mets, my favorite (yet still awful) baseball team. They probably figured if the Mets can’t bring in a crowd to this awesome ballpark, what can? Bacon can. And beer can. GET IT…BEER CAN! But seriously the Mets stink. Bacon and beer does not. So use my code SKINNYPIG at checkout and grab some tickets for you and your friends. This event is ALL INCLUSIVE meaning once you have a ticket and get in, you shan’t be opening up your wallet for anything. All the beer and snacks you want are at your fingertips, and will hopefully end up in your mouth.
I will be attending this event myself, and here’s a few reasons why:
1. Citi Field is an awesome ballpark to check out, if you haven’t already been. The Yankees may have the better team, but we have the better stadium. Deal with it.
2. Some of the restaurants that are participating in the Bacon & Beer Classic are Ottomanelli Bros, Striphouse, Bareburger, BarBacon, Macbar, Lexington Brass, Delicatessen, Scratchbread, American Whiskey, and Swine. Can’t have a bacon-centric theme without a place called Swine, now can you?
3. There will be live music and cooking demos.
4. Some of the breweries participating are Brooklyn Brewery, Smuttynose, Coney Island Brewing Co., Shipyard, Ommegang, Sam Adams, Sierra Nevada, and Sixpoint.
5. BECAUSE BACON AND BEER.
Get your tickets here and get 20% off when you enter my promotional code: SKINNYPIG.

Happy summertime noms everyone!
