As some of you may have heard (literally), I was on the Schweid & Sons Like, Bite & Share podcast recently with other Instagram influencers @eatingnyc and @onehungryjew. And if you don’t know, now you know (#biggie). Here is the link – give it a listen! I had problems with my microphone connection, so I sound like I’m far away on a bad cell phone from 2002, but other than that it’s fun and informative. You know, in case you were wondering how we do this Instagram thing…
Schweid & Sons is one of the biggest meat purveyors out there, and they likely supply some of the delicious burgers you’ve been eating around town. Five Guys? That’s them. The Ainsworth? That’s them too. Isn’t it funny how that works? We all rave about the burgers being great at these places, but we never actually stop and think about where said burger meat is coming from. So again, now you know.
To that end, Schweid & Sons recently released this tongue in cheek video on YouTube and I thought I’d share it with all of you because I thought it was funny. It’s a parody of the “Like a Girl” video that was all over the internet, and it’s titled “Make Burgers Great Again”. Whenever there is an opportunity to poke fun at the Donald, I say we take it. And while I liked the “like a girl” original video a lot, I also happen to really like burgers. I don’t discriminate. Check it out and let’s Make Burgers Great Again.
You’re the awesomest. Which is kind of like being the Burgerest but with more broad appeal to include pizza, tacos and even cookies.
