Get the burger.
There are much better ways to start an intro to a review, but if you take away anything from this post, let it be that. The burger is probably one of the best I’ve had in a while: brisket and short rib beef blend, Iberico Bellota jam, black garlic spread, and aged cheddar cheese sauce. They don’t skimp on that sauce either. I think a burger is best when it’s not too overdone with toppings, and this is a PERFECT example of that.
Outside of the burger, Suprema does pasta really well too. We had the pappardelle with braised pork ragu, which was delicious. Tasted like something you’d eat on a Sunday in Florence.
The space is great too – the front is like an old shop in Italy or Barcelona with cookbooks, spices, pasta, and olive oil. You can buy some pasta and a cast iron skillet, then walk back to the bar for a Negroni and sit down for dinner. Highly recommend this place – you will not be disappointed. Don’t sleep on the truffled deviled eggs either.
