Harry’s holds a special place in my heart. I used to come here with my friends ALL the time when I was younger, and even celebrated New Year’s Eve back in 2011 or 2012…not totally sure which one…
Either way, I came back for lunch and I’m happy to report that it’s just as delicious as I remember! Believe it or not, my favorite dish here was always the Chicken Paillard. It’s a large, flattened chicken breast (cutlet, I suppose), topped with greens, walnuts and goat cheese. It’s simple but it’s great.
Obviously Harry’s is a steakhouse, so we had to get the Cajun Ribeye as well – I wanted it a bit more on the rare side of medium-rare, but maybe I should have said that. It was still tender and flavorful and that’s all that matters. There was once a time where I ate steak well-done. I know, embarrassing, right?
Don’t miss the beef tartare – they actually mix it for you tableside. Kind of like guacamole, but instead of avocados it’s raw hand-cut beef, capers, shallots, chives, and mustard. Mmm delicious. More pics below. Go immediately with clients, friends, or a date. It’s really great for all occasions.
