Homegoods Holiday Walnut Mix

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups walnuts, unsalted and chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded sweetened coconut flakes
  • 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/4 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp Kosher salt
  • 4 tbsp light corn syrup
  • Parchment paper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 275
  • Put all the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix around with a spatula.
  • Add the corn syrup and toss to coat evenly. Make sure to get all the sugar/cinnamon coated evenly throughout the walnuts.
  • Spread the mixture onto a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Bake at 275 for one hour.
  • Let cool on the parchment paper for a few minutes, then break apart with a wooden spatula or your hands (I always use my hands). Happy holidays!
