Apparently all New York food will be served out of trucks by 2012. Frites 'N' Meats, a new fancy burger truck in downtown Manhattan, offers two kinds of burgers: Angus or Kobe beef. Kobe out of a truck? Now I've seen everything. The toppings range from classic onion and tomato to garlicky guacamole and onion jam. According to Frites 'N' Meats, they have found "the best meat, the best buns, the best cheeses and the best burger toppings" in town. Judging from their menu (below), I can see why they would make such a claim, however I do see one major problem so far: no American cheese. A burger with no American cheese?? That's just……un-American.
They also serve dessert, which changes regularly and can be found on their Twitter page.
