I’ll give you one guess as to where this is located. ONE.
It’s actually in the old Koi space in the Trump Soho hotel, but it’s nothing at all like Koi (or like Trump).
The space is sleek and bright white, quiet (at least for lunch), and the menu is modern American. If you love a good burger, you should add this one to your list: it has a fried smoked gouda patty of sorts on top of Pat LaFrieda meat and crispy leeks. Just delightful.
And if you aren’t a burger person, be a short rib person. Because that short rib toast was marvelous. One thing that was slightly lacking: the mac and cheese. Lots of mac, not a lot of cheese. Easy fix though – ask for extra cheese. Is that a thing? Can you do that? If you can, I’m not sure why I never thought of it before.
